Bob, Mick, and Peter Harris

Originally started by Bob Harris in the late 1980's, Harris Park was one of the pioneers in exporting proteas and leucadendrons (now classed as wildflowers) to Japan on a larger scale.

Bob's son Mick (co owner with Bob) became more heavily involved with the construction of the processing and packaging facility, emphasising efficiency and streamlining the export process. This enabled many small growers to export their best flowers under the Harris Park name, when this would have been too big a task for a small operation.

Brushtop Farm worked in with Harris Park in a joint venture from the early 90's, with the adjoining properties working together to grow more flowers to be processed in the one facility.

More to come.
